The Keyplan Letting process

Step 1 Register your interest
Simply call us on 0845 257 2501 or Email, and one of our Lettings Managers will contact you to discuss your property requirements.

Step 2 The search begins
With a clear understanding of your requirements we will take you through a selection of properties that match your criteria. The pace of the letting market is fast moving in order to secure a property, we recommend an early viewing.

Step 3 Accompanied viewings
Our Lettings Managers will co-ordinate and accompany you throughout all your viewings, at a time to suit yourself.

Step 4 Selecting a property
Having found a property that you are happy with, a tenancy application form is completed and we to take up references via HOMELET a credit reference agency.

Step 5 Rental paperwork
Upon completion of all the references, the landlord confirms that they would like to proceed and Keyplan will draw up the Tenancy Agreement, to be signed by both parties.

Inventory
An inventory of the contents and condition of the property is produced prior to commencement of the tenancy. This will be supplied to both landlord and tenant.

Step 6 Rent and deposit
An advance rental payment is required prior to the commencement of the tenancy.

A rental deposit is also required from the tenant. This will be reimbursed to you at the end of the tenancy, subject to the details of your agreement and the findings of the inventory check-out report.

Step 7 We hand you the keys
Congratulations, keys are now handed over and you can move in to your new home!
